I have now tried 5 of primary pure’s deo.. with each one (with the exception of blue tansy) I have said “ok this is my new favorite.” I have been happily surprised with how long it lasts, the scents, and the way it doesn’t give me a rash. However, in my latest order I added LEMONGRASS and I am completely obsessed. I loveee the smell, the way it masks the smell of sweat and makes me smell GOOD.. it works like a charm & lasts all day. Lemongrass forever & always from now on. Nothing will ever stand a chance
Hi Payton, Thanks so much for taking the time to review our Lemongrass Deodorant! We're so grateful for your feedback and are happy to hear that you've found your perfect scent. :) Thanks again and we appreciate the support! All the best,
Be sure to scrape out the extra product from the applicator when you think it's empty. There is WEEKS worth of product still in there, smushed between plastic webbing. Use a popsicle stick to scrape deodorant out, and apply about a pea sized amount to your underarms with the stick to use remaining deodorant. Also gently remove the bottom spinning knob after you've got the top cleaned out. Excess product sits in the base too. I am so disappointed with the amount of plastic used in product packaging, and it's NOT recyclable or reusable. For this price point, I should not have to manually scrape out the deodorant to use the last 10%. For a natural and organic centric company, I expect much more innovation in deodorant packaging.
Hi Rachelle, Thanks so much for the feedback, we genuinely take it to heart! Due to the fact that all of our deodorants are hand poured the levels may vary which can cause an extra bit of deodorant to accumulate near the bottom portion of the tube that cannot be accessed by twisting up the tube. We recommend scooping this portion out and storing it in a small container in order to use. :) We're also grateful for you being so conservation minded. Our deodorant tubes are considered a Level 5 plastic due to the high temperature threshold they carry and they are recyclable through most curbside programs. :) Thanks again and please feel free to be in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you we can answer any questions! Best,
I love this deodorant! For years I have been trying every single natural deodorant on the market. They either don’t work or work for a little while and then I’m on the hunt for a new one. This one has been long lasting and affective and years of feeling anxious about my pit smelling in the middle of the day are in the past. The only downside‘s are that it’s not vegan and the plastic packaging.
I know from past experience that I cannot use a deodorant with baking soda in it because it breaks me out. The problem is finding one without that actually works. I was hoping that, since the baking soda wasn't as strong of an ingredient in your deodorant, that it would work for me. Sadly it does not. It still causes breakouts and itching. I have been using natural deodorant for a couple of years now and I eat a fairly clean diet with low to no sugar. I realize that sometimes there's an adjustment period with switching over, but my body has already been through that. I'll just give the deodorant to my son to use.
Hi Stephanie, Thanks so much for taking the time to review our Lemongrass Deodorant! I'm sorry to hear that you experienced irritation when using this product! We have a lot of great information on our Pure Life Blog that has helped customers navigate and troubleshoot the irritation that can come with using a natural deodorant containing baking soda. We hope you'll check them out as we would hate to see anyone go back to using chemical-laden traditional deodorant formulas. If we can be of any further assistance, please feel free to reach out to email@example.com and we'll be happy to help! All the best,
Really good smell and works prefect! Thought some zest in smell would be nice, so bought this one to try ) the best deodorant I’ve ever tried!
