How to Use Cleansing Oil

This ritual not only resurfaces and deeply cleanses the skin but the massage + warm washcloth removal boosts circulation, activates lymphatic flow and softens tension which are all foundational to create skin that truly radiates from the inside out.

Step 1 | Massage 1-2 pumps of oil onto dry skin (even over makeup) for 1-2 minutes. Tip: Breathe into this moment and focus on areas prone to congestion or tension
Step 2 | Place warm, wet washcloth on skin until it cools and gently wipe away product, makeup + buildup (repeat with opposite side of cloth if needed).

"I found out about Primally Pure about a month ago on my search for a more natural way to manage my rosacea which never calmed down after my 2nd baby about 2 years ago. "I’m unsure how to feel about this cleansing oil fully yet. I really like it and I like the routine of using it to cleanse my face. it leaves my skin incredibly hydrated and not feeling stripped like I typically did after using other popular skin cleansers like cerave and other face washes. however I do feel like sometimes it takes a lot of work/detail to make sure there’s no oil left on my skin. i still get breakouts but i also think my skin is potentially adjusting to this new routine as I’ve only been using it for a month. I have rosacea acne. Would this skin care routine be irritating to that? I’m not currently in a flare. Just curious. I’ve never used this kind of skin care and know that the rosacea acne makes my skin sensitive. Any thoughts?: Thanks so much for reaching out! We'd love to share our favorite product picks to help with Rosacea. For cleansing, we would recommend our Baby Bar which is packed full of super nourishing ingredients that help to calm skin without causing further irritation. Next, we would follow up with our Soothing Mist as an effective + healing toner. I’ve been using this cleansing oil & soothing mist/serum/cream for about two weeks. After the first week, I started noticing small white bumps of acne I don’t normally have. I have been using the double cleanser in the AM and PM. My face has been breaking quite bad. Do you recommend adding anything or doing anything else? I know it might take a while for skin to adjust as well but just wanted to make sure since Acne makes me so self conscious and it’s pretty bad.: Hi Josie, Based on what you've described it sounds like your skin may be experiencing this due to over cleansing. We would recommend limiting oil cleansing to a few times a week and using our Baby Bar to cleanse at night in-between those times. Follow up with Everything Spray to tone + finish with Baby Balm or Beauty Cream to moisturize. In the morning we recommend simply splashing your face with some warm water and using Everything Spray on a cotton pad to remove any residue that built up from the night before.
