We want to encourage you to rethink your relationship with the sun. While many brands urge constant sunscreen use out of fear, we believe in a more mindful approach: thoughtful, intentional time in the sun to nourish circadian rhythms, hormonal health, vitamin D synthesis and vitality – paired with truly non-toxic, broad-spectrum SPF for longer, sun-soaked moments.
So short answer: No, we don’t believe you need to wear this product every single day – but for those extended days outside (for vacation or your vocation), wearing a safe, effective sunscreen does matter.
P.S. If you struggle with sun blisters/sun-induced cold sores like our Holistic Esthetician, she recommends not leaving the house without this.

Our Sun Lip Balm was developed and tested as a standalone product, which means its SPF protection is confirmed only when used solo. While applying Lip Oil on top shouldn't interfere with the effectiveness, we can’t guarantee the same level of sun protection if used together because it hasn’t been tested that capacity. For best results, we recommend using the Sun Lip Balm on its own when sun protection is your top priority.

For full protection, apply generously and evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every 2 hours and after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating.

This physical sun defense remains on the surface of skin without being absorbed, making it the safest and most effective option for sun protection.
This is seen as a safer, better-for-you mineral option than Nano Zinc Oxide because Non-Nano Zinc Oxide has a larger particle size than Nano Zinc Oxide (larger than 100 nanometers) which means that is too large to penetrate the skin (i.e. doesn’t enter the bloodstream) and stays on the surface of the skin to reflect UV rays.
Non-Nano Zinc Oxide is also considered reef-safe and less toxic to marine life than Nano Zinc Oxide.
