Can I bathe in this :)

"I love the smell and how this oil makes my skin feel. While I’m covered in spf daily I live in the desert and UV is inevitable. I love that blue tansy has qualities that help my body and face after UV exposure. The smell is delightful and I’m super sensitive to smells but what’s better is it doesn’t linger. The smell dissipates however my skin continues to feel supple and amazing."

Amazing

"I didn’t think I was going to love this because I thought I would have to use a ton for it to work and wouldn’t be able to justify the price. . PRO TIP!! You can rub oil on to damp skin immediately after the shower and it goes pretty far! I use roughly 15 pumps for my entire body. It gives your skin an instant hydrated look and feel and makes my whole bathroom and bedroom smell like faint blue tansy which is a great byproduct! I alternate days between the oil and the body butter and have been loving that. I cannot wait to purchase other scents!"

Amazing product!

"I’ve been loving the Primally Pure Blue Tansy Body Oil. It smells absolutely amazing—fresh, calming, and honestly just delicious. It absorbs really nicely into my skin and leaves it feeling soft, hydrated, and glowing without feeling greasy. It’s become one of my favorite parts of my routine."

Oscar G. (5/5)

Lovely product, but not the best face moisturizer

"We bought this and 3 different body butter scents to try as face moisturizers. This was better than the body butters, but still not quite what we needed. They all left us a little greasy. The body butters were especially greasy feeling and looking. This did make an excellent leg lotion though!"

Great for hair too!

"This has the most beautiful scent and is so calming! While I mainly use this as a body oil, it has also helped tame frizz for my curly hair!"

Jennifer M. (5/5)

"Great product that’s all natural and non-toxic. Everything I ordered including this blue tansy body oil smells delicious & feels great on my skin! I’ve already made another purchase and also got my mom some products for Mother’s Day. Obsessed!!!"

Katie (5/5)

Favorite scent

"Absolutely love blue tansy oil and it’s light fragrance. My skin is dry and the oil is an extra moisturizer for my skin. I use it after a shower, a very nice luxury to my skin care routine."

Aleta D. (5/5)

BEST body oil!

"This has become my favorite body oil! It is lightweight, goes on smooth, it is not sticky, tacky or heavy and it absorbs into my skin very nicely. I love the Blue Tansy sent…wonderful!"

Cindy C. (5/5)

Loving this

"Smell is wonderful and it absorbs nicely. I love this more than the body butter because of the lightweight and absorbing nature. Will continue to use and repurchase!"

Brianna A. (5/5)

Devine

"Devine. Smells like luxury. Clean ingredients and feels very hydrating on the skin. I have also been using it on my face to help with some redness and inflammation due to psoriasis and I have seen a difference on my skin in the short time that I have been using this oil."

Q&A

Hello! I absolutely love your products and am curious if the sunflower oil in the Blue Tandy body oil is considered a high processed seed oil? I’ve been advised to avoid seed oils due to my severe osteoarthritis, and am a little concerned about the possibility of it absorbing into my skin. Thanks so much.
Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to us regarding PUFAs. We completely understand where you’re coming from and we agree that PUFAs should be approached with caution and, in many cases, avoided completely. Not all PUFAs are harmful - but because of the fragile nature of polyunsaturated fatty acids, they can easily become harmful if they are damaged from extraction methods or poor storage. For example, fish oil is a PUFA, but it can be a great supplement as long as it’s high quality, properly stored, and extracted without heat or chemicals. It’s no secret that we are big fans of using high-quality fats in our skincare products! We love saturated fats such as coconut oil, tallow, and many others. We also use a variety of polyunsaturated nut and seed-based oils. All of the oils we use are high quality and cold-pressed (unlike the vast majority of PUFAs used in the food industry, which are almost always subject to extreme damage and oxidation during extraction and cooking methods). The oils we use have not been exposed to high temperatures or chemical extraction. Obtaining these high-quality oils is costly, but it’s an expense that we consider to be essential. We store most of our oils in amber colored glass which also helps to prevent oxidation. Additionally, we add Vitamin e, a potent antioxidant, to help further protect our products from oxidation. The labels on these products state that they are best if used within 6 months and we do suggest following that guideline. We suggest being mindful of the PUFAs that you use internally and externally. It’s important to check the quality by ensuring that the oils are cold-pressed and properly stored during every step of the supply chain process. We hope this gives you a glimpse into the care we take in choosing our ingredients. We truly hope you enjoy our safe + natural skincare!
Is the color of the oil naturally occurring or is there added color to make it more aesthetically pleasing?
The color is natural, no added color!
Is this greasy? Does it take a while to soak into skin?
It has a natural oil feel, not too greasy. It absorbs nicely into the skin. :)

I’m wondering if there is a more sustainable way to order these body oils so I don’t have to get a new plastic pump each time? Would be lovely to offer a cap only option so I could reuse the pump.
Hi Caylee, Of course! Next time you place an order you can write in the notes that you prefer your order shipped without the pump as you already have one. Our shipping team will see the note and remove the pump from your shipment. :) XO, The Pure Team
