Best baby soap

"Love this soap! Lathers and cleans so well and so much peace of mind knowing it’s good, clean ingredients. While it’s not “no tears”, it hasn’t caused any meltdowns or crying if it’s gotten in my daughter’s eyes. We’ve been using it since her first bath and don’t plan to stop soon. Couldn’t recommend more."

Misleading packaging

"I was really excited to try Primally Pure for my newborn phase, but honestly left disappointed by the value for the price point. The packaging for the Baby Powder is especially misleading, as the container arrived half full. More broadly, the baby kit products are extremely small for the cost. After seeing everything in person, it’s hard to justify the pricing when these items will likely only last around a month (or less) with regular newborn use. I appreciate the clean ingredients and branding, but the overall experience feels much more luxury-marketing-driven than practical for new parents actually using these products daily."

The only brand I’ll use on my baby

"I am a hugeeee fan of Primally Pure Baby Balm. It’s great for post bath time moisturizing (even better with the baby oil layered on first) and great for diaper rash. I love how clean the ingredients are, I don’t have to worry about any random harmful chemicals. I won’t consider buying any other brand for my babes."

Not just for babies

"When I saw that this bar was vitamin A rich I had to try it for myself I use it as my daytime cleanser for my face & I love it. I also cut a piece off because it is huge to try it on my body as well this baby bar has become a staple in my skincare routine for sure!!!"

Samone F. (5/5)

Think I like it ?

"I think I like it ? Unfortunately, I have developed dermatitis from Primally Pure's scented body washes, so even though I love them, my skin does not. The bar is not as moisturizing as the washes, but I understand that it probably cannot be."

Grace G. (3/5)

Buy it!

"Not going to lie the price seemed a bit extreme to me when I first came across the bar soap, but I want the best products for my baby so I gave it a try, and I was not disappointed with this product. Completely worth it and it lasts months. It’s a plus that it doesn’t have a strong smell to it either. I even use it myself sometimes. Love that it doesn’t strip the skin like other soaps do. But this soap!!"

Caitlin L. (5/5)

Very gentle

"Even though it's for babies, I use it in the shower to wash my face. It's gentle enough that it doesn't dry out my skin, even with my regular daily face wash. Even my husband uses it and likes it."

Emily R. (5/5)

Versatile Soap

"I use this soap with my toddler and I use it for my own face and body for my nightly shower. Super gentle, my toddler had a couple dry areas on his thighs that went away after introducing this new soap. Will continue to purchase and use."

Nina G. (5/5)

Lovely for baby’s first bath

"I used this for my baby’s first bath and plan to use it for all future baths. So smooth and leaves baby’s skin smooth and well moisturized. A lovely product for your little one’s delicate skin."

Ioanna L. (5/5)

Good quality

"Bought this for a friend. The ingredients seem super good and the bar was really high quality. Definitely want to get for my baby."

Q&A

Is this made with raw goat milk?
The goat milk wouldn't be considered raw because it has gone through a saponification process which means that it's been heated to be combined with the other ingredients. It is however organic. :)
How long does this bar last using it as soap in the shower? Is this what you would recommend to cleanse the body in the shower?
Thanks for your question! It really depends on how much soap you use. Anywhere from 2-5 weeks. XO, Pure Team
Your products contain glycerin. And below you state that they don’t contain soy. But, glycerin is typically made from soybean, coconut, or palm oil. You did not state where your glycerin is derived from is the question from the person with the soy allergy. I also have a severe soy allergy and would love to purchase your products but need absolute confirmation that your glycerin is not derived from soy. Thank you!
Thanks so much for reaching out, we are happy to help! Thanks for asking about glycerin, the glycerin in the Baby Bar is a bi-product of shea butter, coconut butter, and olive oil. We don't use glycerin derived from soy. I can tell you that in all of the items we make, the Glycerin is sourced from Organic karanja seed (India) or organic rapeseed (France). The only exception would be our Hand Sanitizers which do contain glycerin derived from vegetable oil, so we suggest those with soy allergies to avoid that particular product. We are always very happy to help answer any questions our customers have about ingredients. So please don't hesitate to reach out if we can help answer anything else. :)
Should you rinse this off your face or leave it on? I find when I rinse it off my face feels dry/ tight.
We would recommend washing it off your face and making sure to moisturize after. :)
Can this be used on the entire body for an adult to replace regular soap?
Thanks so much for reaching out, we are happy to help! This Bar is safe to use for your body as well. :) Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance or reach out to [email protected]. XO, Pure Team
