Podcast: How Natural Skincare Supports Holistic Health (With Our Holistic Esthetician)
Our dear friends, Caroline Potter + Justine Campbell of the Colorful Eats Podcast, often talk about holistic health + safe skincare in several of their episodes, but this is the first time they’ve had an esthetician on as a guest. I’m SO honored to have been invited to share my knowledge + passion on their podcast and to spend time with such incredible, like-minded women.
It all started back in the day, in my basement. My obsession with the beauty industry began when I was 11 and I would offer full makeovers for my friends in my makeshift spa. Fast forward a couple of decades and I’ve become a licensed holistic esthetician (and hold a cosmetology degree that I hardly ever use) and my passion for beauty has developed into something so much deeper.
We dive in depth about my experience as a holistic esthetician, the benefits of natural beauty products (aka why I’m completely obsessed with Primally Pure), and my perspectives on several mainstream skincare treatments that actually do the exact opposite of what they promise.
Plus, we talk about simple tips to treat yourself to an at-home facial and reflect on my personal journey of giving up gluten, refined sugar + alcohol – and the most important thing I learned from it.
Tune in to the podcast episode below and I hope our conversation educates, encourages and inspires you to not only care for your skin with pure, simple ingredients but to view skin imbalances as an invitation to do some inner, holistic healing.
